Terms of Use

1) The Service

Grace provides tools, content, and reminders to help dog owners build consistent at-home training habits. We may update or change features at any time.

2) Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or older if your local law requires). Create an account with accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3) Not veterinary or professional advice

Grace is not a substitute for professional advice from a veterinarian or certified animal behaviorist. Training involves risk; use judgment and consider your dog's health, breed traits, history, and environment. If you have concerns about aggression, anxiety, or health, consult a professional before using the Service. You assume all risk for your and your dog's safety.

4) User content

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., notes, photos). You grant Grace a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use that content solely to operate and improve the Service. Do not upload content you don't have rights to.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• • Violate any law or rights of others;
• • Upload harmful code or attempt to access the Service without authorization;
• • Reverse engineer or misuse the Service;
• • Use the Service to harass, harm, or encourage unsafe training practices;
• • Use automated means to scrape or export data except as allowed by an API we provide.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6) Communications; SMS program

By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails (e.g., confirmations, password resets). With your explicit consent, we may send SMS reminders. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7) Beta features

From time to time we may offer beta or experimental features. They are provided "as is," may change without notice, and may have bugs or be discontinued.

8) Fees & trials (if applicable)

If we introduce paid plans, we will disclose pricing and billing terms in the app. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled as described at purchase. Taxes may apply.

9) Ownership

We and our licensors own the Service and all related intellectual property. These Terms do not transfer any rights except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.

10) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee specific training outcomes or uninterrupted availability.

11) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRACE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, those limits apply only to the extent permitted by law.

12) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grace and our affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13) Governing law; dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflicts of law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing contact@grace.dog. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules in the county where you live (or Phoenix, AZ, if that is not practical). Class actions are not permitted. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of account creation by emailing contact@grace.dog with the subject "Arbitration Opt Out," including your name and the email associated with your account.

14) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will notify you (e.g., by email or in-app). Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

15) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute resolution) will survive.
